Fèis Ìle Whisky Competition – Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to all competitions listed on Fèis Ìle’s official website at feisile.co.uk ("Fèis Ìle Competitions").
To enter, participants (each an “Entrant”) may be required to correctly answer a question or solve a challenge set by Fèis Ìle (the “Competition Question”). A free entry method is also available..

Competitions will open and close on the dates shown on the Website. These are the “Opening Date” and “Closing Date” respectively. All dates and times refer to local UK time.
Fèis Ìle reserves the right to amend the Opening or Closing Date (maximum of three changes), with updated dates posted on the Website.
Entries must be received before the deadline on the Closing Date to be valid. Late entries will not be accepted or refunded.
The maximum number of entries will be stated on the Website. Entry availability is subject to capacity.
Entrants may enter as many times as they wish unless restricted. Free entries must be submitted separately. Bulk free entries will not be accepted.

To enter:

Entry confirmation will be sent upon successful submission (except free entries).
Fèis Ìle is not responsible for entries not received or delayed due to technical or other failures.
Entering the competition forms a binding agreement to these terms.

Hand-delivered entries will not be accepted.
Your postal entry must include:
- Full name
- Address
- Phone number and email
- Your answer to the Competition Question
Incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified.
Each free entry must be sent individually. Bulk entries in one envelope will count as one entry.
Entries must arrive before the Closing Date. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt.
Receipt or correctness of answers will not be acknowledged.
If the entry limit is reached before your free entry is received, it will not be entered into the draw.

Entrants who correctly answer the Competition Question (if applicable) will be entered into a random draw to determine the winner.
If no question is posed, all entrants are entered.
The draw will occur within 7 days of the Closing Date (“Draw Date”).
Entrants’ names or usernames and entry numbers may be published on the Website and during the live draw. To remain anonymous, email info@feisile.co.uk at least 48 hours before the draw.

Competitions are open to UK residents aged 18 and over, except:
- Employees of Fèis Ìle;
- Individuals professionally connected with the competition or its administration;
- Immediate family/household members of the above.
Staff or representatives of participating distilleries are allowed to enter. However, members of the Fèis Ìle organising body are not eligible.
By entering, you confirm eligibility. Proof may be requested.
Entries will not be accepted if:
- Automatically generated by software;
- Incomplete or in breach of these terms.
Fèis Ìle reserves the right to disqualify entrants for misconduct, abuse, or fraudulent behaviour, including:
- Any form of cheating or manipulation;
- Misrepresentation or concealment;
- Tampering with the Website or its code.

Refunds will not be provided:

Prize details will be listed on the Website. All descriptions are accurate as of the Opening Date to the best of Fèis Ìle’s knowledge.
Prizes may be subject to availability and substitution with items of equal or greater value.
No guarantees or warranties are provided regarding prize condition or value.
Fèis Ìle reserves the right to substitute a prize with a cash alternative where:
- The original prize is unavailable;
- Circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control require a change.
Prizes are non-transferable and non-negotiable.

Fèis Ìle’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
Winners will be contacted via email or phone as soon as possible after the Draw Date.
If the winner cannot be contacted or fails to claim the prize within 30 days, the prize will be offered to another eligible entrant.
A list of winners (surname and county) will be available for one month following the Closing Date. Requests must be submitted with a self-addressed envelope to the address in section 1.
If you do not wish your name to be published, contact info@feisile.co.uk before the Closing Date. We may still disclose winner details to the ASA if required by law.

Only the winner may claim the prize. Third-party claims are not allowed.
Delivery or collection details will be shared post-draw.
If your contact details change, notify info@feisile.co.uk with your old and new details. If changes occur within 10 days of the draw, we may still use old details.
Cash Prizes will be transferred to a UK bank account in the winner’s name. Proof of account ownership may be required.
Failing to claim within 30 days may result in forfeiture. The prize will then be offered to the next eligible Entrant.
Fèis Ìle accepts no liability if you are unable or choose not to take the prize.

Except for death or injury caused by negligence, Fèis Ìle and its agents are not liable for any loss, damage or inconvenience arising from the prize or competition participation. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

Your data will only be used to manage the competition and will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy (available on the Website).
By entering, you consent to your data being used for the purposes outlined.
Winners agree that Fèis Ìle may use their name, image and town/county for promotional purposes unless otherwise stated.
You can withdraw consent at any time, but this may disqualify you from receiving the prize.
Requests to delete your personal information will result in withdrawal from the competition, with no refund provided.

Fèis Ìle reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. The latest version will be available on the Website.
Any breach of these terms may result in disqualification.
The competition may be amended, suspended, or cancelled at the Promoter’s discretion.
Competitions are not affiliated with or endorsed by Facebook or any other third-party platform.
These terms are governed by English law, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
